A space for you to Receive

Imagine breathing in the cool, crisp air of the Andes Mountains of Peru in mid June. The sound of a bird singing greets you while you walk through a beautiful flower filled garden. You find a peaceful spot to sit and read a book before breakfast. Your days are sprinkled with some gentle yoga, self care rituals, and transformative workshops.
On a deep journey through breath, you begin to understand what brought you here. The next layer of your healing is revealed. The healing layer that simply asks you to RECEIVE. Receiving the insights of what you already know.
To come back to NATURE.
On your free time you head towards a waterfall to spend the afternoon, or perhaps find yourself journaling or drawing on a bench in the garden. On a journey into town, the culture of Peru comes alive amongst the architecture, textiles, and joyful smiles from the locals. Here,
you remember your greater connection to your outer world.

Retreat Offerings

Daily Yoga Practice

We will incorporate yin and hatha yoga classes into our retreat in order to create a deeper sense of self care for the week of our retreat. Yin yoga is a slow-paced practice that focuses on holding poses for longer periods of time, while hatha is a more traditional practice that includes a variety of poses and breathing techniques. By offering both styles, we can cater to a wider range of guests and provide a balanced approach to their yoga practice. Our experienced instructors will guide guests through each class ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Somatic Breathwork Journey

Somatic Release Breathwork is a therapeutic approach that employs breathing techniques to alleviate physical and emotional tension from the body. By concentrating on the breath and enabling it to flow through the body, individuals can let go of stress, trauma, and other adverse emotions. This technique can enhance overall well-being and foster a sense of calmness.

Plant Spirit Medicine Workshop

This introductory workshop blends the ancient wisdom tradition of Plant Spirit Medicine with modern herbalism. It invites you into a direct experience with the aliveness of nature and your inherent connection to it. We all have the ability to commune with plants and live in a space of harmony and balance with nature. Plant Spirit Medicine takes into consideration that we, as humans, exist on many levels and that each layer of our being needs to be tended to. Plants, as multidimensional beings themselves, understand this and know how to reach into the deepest recesses of our being. Learn how to begin creating these connections for yourself while learning about the local flora and fauna of the Peruvian Andes and making (and then receiving!) a plant bath-- a traditional “limpia” / cleansing practice that is a beautiful, nourishing self-care ritual.

Rose & Cacao Ceremony

Both Rose and Cacao are sacred plant medicines that help us connect to our hearts. It is said that Mama Cacao comes to us from the Jungle to teach us to live in harmony with the Earth and all of our relations. She helps us remember what it means to reside in the space of the heart. Ceremonial Cacao is chocolate in its rawest form. The spirit of the plant is left fully-intact. It has not been added to, refined, or made to be anything that it is not. In this same way, Cacao can help us return to this pure, un-touched core of who we are, before all the stories or layers of conditioning. We find that the essence of Rose loves to work with Cacao to encourage both a softening and a blossoming within. When worked with intentionally, these plants invite us on a deep sensorial, meditative journey. In ceremony, we hold a sacred space for you to commune with this medicine and allow what needs to flow through you. The space is cozy, warm, and welcoming. You will be guided through a very gentle, slow yoga journey and meditative experience while EJ serenades us with a live soundscape and music that soothes the soul.

I'm Lindsay, a Colorado native, born and raised, originally from Littleton, Colorado. I've spent most of my time living along the Colorado front range, intermixed with long bouts living nomadically out of a backpack, halfway around the world. In 2016, grief rooted me back to my home state, where I spent the next few years focused on self growth and personal transformation.

In 2018, I created WanderLotus®. This space was created as a place to share my offerings to the greater community. A place where I could merge mental health and the holistic lifestyle into a safe container. My world travels humbled me, and showed me that there was another way to live this life. There is something out there, besides deadlines, people pleasing, and fitting into the societal mold. So I was determined to come home and disrupt the Western mindset. To help bring our people back. Back to our bodies, back to our breath, back to Mother Nature. My studies and my teachings reflect a blend of Eastern Philosophy, Earth Medicine and Shamanic practices.

I bring transformation to my clients by bringing yoga, Ayurveda, lifestyle coaching, travel, nature and community together. I want to help others feel good in their mind, body and soul. So, I invite you to hold space with me.

Here you are safe to be authentically you and show up just as you are. I will hold a safe space that brings you to the edge of your comfort zone, so you can get out of your own way, and create the life you've been dreaming about.

Born and raised in Colorado, I have been living in the Sacred Valley, Peru for several years where I am blessed to move through life at a slower pace, surrounded by the beauty of Nature and a culture that remembers that Spirit animates all. I am a clinical herbalist, a 500-hour yoga teacher, and a transformational space-holder. Beyond these labels, I am simply a child of this Earth… as we all are.

One of my great passions in this lifetime is to create warm spaces for humans to return to Nature and invite in deep remembrance…. To cultivate a living, sacred relationship with the wider-world that exists both within us and all around us. As we light this flame of awareness in our hearts, we see past the illusion of separation that we are often confronted with in the modern world, and understand that it is in our nature to be in communion with the land… to see ourselves reflected in the plants, the trees, the flowers, the mountains, the stones, the rivers, and the long lineage of love and wisdom that is embedded within it all. Ultimately, we begin to embrace the feeling of truly BELONGING.

I have nearly a decade long journey with Chronic Lyme Disease to thank for initiating me onto this path and bringing me home to these mountains where I continue to find so much healing. I am SO excited for each of you to experience the magic of these Apus (the Quechua word for these fully-alive, powerful Mountain Spirits!) and what insights take shape when we give ourselves the gift of time in nature, presence, laughter, and a whole lot of love and nourishment. A journey to Peru is certainly an initiation in and of itself & even more awaits you!
